Just a Skosh of Mayhem

It’s no mystery that I haven’t been keeping up with this like I used too.  But it’s summer and I’d rather be outside fishing or riding my bike, so I guess that’s just how it’s going to be.

So then, this last weekend was pretty nuts. Thursday there was way – WAY too much tequila consumed which led to a still drunken frolf session in Edina?(course off of the six-duece).  Friday also held alot of music to be heard; Chris Koza, OL’YELLER and of course, Keston and Westdal. The first two were at the 311 club and the latter, The Nomad.

Saturday, I got to see wolfmother at the Fineline.  They were pretty decent.  They have that classic heavy metal sound, like Black Sabbath, or Deep Purple.  I would imagin if they keep it real enough, in a few years they’ll be awesome.  I didn’t stick around for the whole set, because there was this crazy warehouse party going down in NE.

There was knob twisting space music provided by Keston and Westdal and Premium in a can for $2.  I also saw the guy I sold my car too there, which was a funny coincidence.  Sunday involved sitting around on my ass drinking cocktails until about 5ish.  One on One bike studios had a bike swap in the morning, and a derby in the afternoon.

which was the perfect amount of mayhem for a Sunday.

  1. don't call me MA'AM

I like how you used “skosh” and “mayhem” in one post. Great work.

My brain hurts from trying to figure out what is in the picture with the lights. Help.

Where was the crazy warehouse party???

  2. Hi-Five!

I’m loving Wolfmother as of late. A lot of Zepplin, little bit of Sabbath makes for a tasty treat. Wish I would’ve gone to the show.
